These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of WP Ghost services, websites, and software products provided by MINBO QRE SRL (Company No. 37814865) (“WP Ghost”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing wpghost.com or using our products and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. About WP Ghost

WP Ghost (also known as Hide My WP Ghost) is a WordPress security software provider offering licensed digital products and related services.

All WP Ghost products distributed via our website or the WordPress directory are licensed under the GPLv2 license, where applicable.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our website or services.

By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and current.
  • You will maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Accounts are non-transferable.

3. Accounts and Membership

To access purchased products, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide complete and accurate information.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • Not share, resell, or transfer your account access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Licensing and Use of Products

Upon purchase and activation, you receive a license to use the product in accordance with:

  • The selected plan
  • The activation scope
  • These Terms

Ownership of the product remains with WP Ghost.

The license grants usage rights but does not transfer intellectual property ownership.

5. Website Connection Limits (Agency & High-Volume Plans)

Certain WP Ghost plans allow connection of multiple websites under a single subscription.

To maintain infrastructure stability, fair usage, and support quality, each subscription may connect a maximum of 1,000 websites. This limit applies to all agency and high-volume plans.

WP Ghost reserves the right to modify technical limits where necessary to protect service integrity.

Attempts to bypass usage limits may result in suspension or termination without refund.

6. Agency Plan Restrictions

Agency or multi-site plans are intended exclusively for managing websites under an active client relationship.

The following are prohibited:

  • Reselling licenses as standalone products
  • Redistributing access outside a legitimate client relationship
  • Undercutting official WP Ghost pricing in a way that constitutes unfair competition

Agencies are responsible for all websites connected under their subscription.

7. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed via third-party providers, including Paddle.com.

By purchasing, you agree to:

  • Applicable pricing and renewal terms
  • Automatic subscription renewals where selected
  • Responsibility for currency conversion fees imposed by your financial institution

Failure to complete payment may result in suspension of licenses and services.

All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Subscription cancellations prevent future renewals but do not retroactively refund prior payments unless otherwise stated in our refund policy.

9. Support Services

Support is provided according to the active subscription plan.

Initial installation guidance may be included for a primary website. Extended or advanced support may require additional service agreements.

We reserve the right to limit support in cases of abuse, excessive demands, or misuse of services.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of WP Ghost is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We process personal data in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection laws.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use WP Ghost services for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to bypass licensing systems
  • Reverse-engineer proprietary components beyond GPL rights
  • Interfere with system stability or other users’ access

Violation may result in immediate termination.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software (excluding GPL components where applicable), design elements, trademarks, logos, documentation, and proprietary materials available through WP Ghost are the intellectual property of MINBO QRE SRL.

Except where expressly permitted under the GPLv2 license, you may NOT:

  • Copy, redistribute, or republish proprietary materials
  • Use WP Ghost trademarks, logos, or branding without written authorization
  • Create or distribute derivative works outside the scope of GPL permissions
  • Sell, resell, sublicense, or distribute WP Ghost products on third-party marketplaces or websites without written authorization

Any unauthorized redistribution, commercial resale, trademark misuse, or intellectual property infringement may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your subscription
  • Revocation of license rights
  • Removal of access to updates and support

If you believe any content on our website infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with sufficient detail so we may investigate the matter promptly.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • Payments fail
  • Terms are violated
  • Fraud or abuse is detected

Suspension does not entitle you to a refund unless required by law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • WP Ghost provides products “as is”
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant subscription

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer laws.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold WP Ghost harmless from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of the service
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Breach of applicable laws

16. Sanctions Compliance

WP Ghost services are not available to individuals or entities located in countries subject to international sanctions or listed on official sanctions lists.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service where sanctions risk exists.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice.

Continued use of WP Ghost after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Romanian courts for disputes arising under these Terms.
